TURBOCHARGING
Turbocharger oil pipe: Removal - Refitting

12B
a Tighten to torque:
-the hollow bolts of the turbocharger cooling
pipe on the turbocharger (27 N.m),
-the bolt for the turbocharger oil pipe heat shield
on the coolant pipe housing outlet (10 N.m).
a Connect the turbocharger cooling hoses.
a Fit the turbocharger cooling hose clips using the tool
(Mot. 1448).
a Remove the tools (Ms. 583) from the turbocharger
cooling hoses.
a Refit:
-the catalytic converter (see 19B, Exhaust, Cataly-
tic converter: Removal - Refitting, page 19B-17)
,
-the exhaust connecting hose (see 19B, Exhaust,
Connecting hose: Removal - Refitting, page
19B-60) ,
-the lower engine tie-bar (see 19D, Engine moun-
ting, Lower engine tie-bar: Removal - Refitting,
page 19D-33) ,
-a new right-hand differential output seal (see Diffe-
rential output seal: Removal - Refitting) (21A,
Manual gearbox),
-the front right-hand wheel driveshaft (see Front ri-
ght-hand wheel driveshaft: Removal - Refitting)
(29A, Driveshafts).
a Fill the manual gearbox (see Manual gearbox oil:
Draining - Refilling) (21A, Manual gearbox).
a Refit:
-the front section of the front right-hand wheel arch
liner (see Front wheel arch liner: Removal - Re-
fitting) (55A, Exterior protection),
-the front right-hand wheel (see Wheel: Removal -
Refitting) (35A, Wheels and tyres),
-the upstream oxygen sensor (see 17B, Petrol in-
jection, Oxygen sensors: Removal - Refitting,
page 17B-1) ,
-the scoop under the scuttle panel grille (see Scoop
under scuttle panel grille: Removal - Refitting)
(56A, Exterior equipment),
-the scuttle panel grille (see Scuttle panel grille:
Removal - Refitting) (56A, Exterior equipment),
-the windscreen wiper arms (see Windscreen wi-
per arm: Removal - Refitting) (85A, Wiping -
Washing),
-the engine undertray,
-the engine cover.
a Connect the battery (see Battery : Removal - Refit-
ting) (80A, Battery).
a Top up the coolant and carry out the bleed operation
(see 19A, Cooling, Cooling circuit: Draining - Re-
filling, page 19A-17) .

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:
Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).
a Disconnect the battery (see Battery : Removal -
Refitting) (80A, Battery).
a Remove:
- the engine cover,
- the engine undertray bolts,
- the engine undertray,
-the windscreen wiper arms (see Windscreen wi-
per arm: Removal - Refitting) (85A, Wiping -
Washing),
- the scuttle panel grille (see Scuttle panel grille:
Removal - Refitting) (56A, Exterior equipment),
- the scoop under the scuttle panel grille (see Scoop
under scuttle panel grille: Removal - Refitting)
(56A, Exterior equipment).
- the front right-hand wheel (see Wheel: Removal -
Refitting) (35A, Wheels and tyres),
- the front section of the front right-hand wheel arch
liner (see Front wheel arch liner: Removal - Re-
fitting) (55A, Exterior protection).
a Drain the manual gearbox (see Manual gearbox
oil: Draining - Refilling) (21A, Manual gearbox).
a Remove:
- the front right-hand wheel driveshaft (see Front ri-
ght-hand wheel driveshaft: Removal - Refitting)
(29A, Driveshafts),
- the right-hand differential output seal (see Diffe-
rential output seal: Removal - Refitting) (21A,
Manual gearbox),
- the lower engine tie-bar (see 19D, Engine moun-
ting, Lower engine tie-bar: Removal - Refitting,
page 19D-33) ,
- the exhaust connecting hose (see 19B, Exhaust,
