DIESEL INJECTION
High pressure pump: Removal - Refitting

a Remove:
-the dipstick,
-the dipstick guide bolts (10) .
a Move aside the dipstick guide.
a Disconnect the injector rail pressure sensor connec-
tor (11) .
a Unclip the diesel drain pipe (12) from the injector rail
protector.
a Disconnect:
-the fuel supply pipe union (13) of the exhaust fuel
injector from the fuel supply solenoid valve of the
exhaust fuel injector,
-the fuel supply pipe union (14) of the exhaust fuel
injector from the high pressure pump.
a Remove the fuel supply pipe from the exhaust fuel
injector.
a Fit suitable blanking plugs on:
- the opening of the fuel supply solenoid valve for the
exhaust fuel injector,
- the high pressure pump opening,
- the pipe openings of the exhaust fuel injector fuel
supply solenoid valve.
