DIESEL INJECTION
High pressure pump: Removal - Refitting

a Disconnect the diesel injector fuel return rail from the
Venturi at (15) .
a Place a suitable blanking plug on the Venturi ope-
ning.
a Disconnect:
-the connector (16) from each diesel injector,
-all heater plug connectors (17) .
a Unclip the diesel injector wiring from the injector rail
protector.
a Remove the diesel injector wiring nut from the gear-
box side lifting eye.
a Remove the diesel injection wiring.
a Remove:
- the nuts (18) from the injector rail protector,
- the injector rail protector.
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Remove:
- the high pressure pump bolts (19) ,
- the bolt (20) from the fuel supply pipe union protec-
tion bracket,
