DIESEL INJECTION
High-pressure pipe between the rail and injector: Removal - Refitting
K9K, and 830

a Remove:
-the nuts (9) from the injector rail protector,
-the injector rail protector.
a Undo the injector rail nuts (10) .
a
a Undo the high pressure pipe nuts between the rail
and the injector using the (Mot. 1566).
a Remove:
-the nut for the high pressure pipes between the in-
jector rail and the diesel fuel injectors on the injec-
tor rail side,
-the nut for the high pressure pipes between the in-
jector rail and the diesel fuel injectors on the injec-
tor side,
-the high pressure pipes between the injector rail
and the diesel fuel injectors concerned.
a Fit suitable blanking plugs on:
- the injector rail openings,
- the opening of each diesel injector.

WARNING
Always hold the intermediate injector union in
place with a wrench when loosening the high
pressure pipes.
Do not damage the injector return nozzle.
WARNING
To avoid any corrosion or damage, protect the
areas on which fuel is likely to run.
