DIESEL INJECTION
High-pressure pipe between the rail and injector: Removal - Refitting

a Remove:
-the dipstick,
-the dipstick guide bolts (15) .
a Move aside the dipstick guide.
a Disconnect the injector rail pressure sensor connec-
tor (16) .
a Unclip the diesel drain pipe from the injector rail pro-
tector (17) .
a Unclip the alternator wiring from the injector rail pro-
tector at (18) .
a Disconnect the exhaust fuel injector fuel supply pipe
union (19) from the exhaust fuel injector fuel supply
solenoid valve.
a Separate the fuel supply pipe from the exhaust fuel
injector.
a Fit a suitable blanking plug to:
- the opening of the exhaust fuel injector fuel supply
solenoid valve,
- the opening of the exhaust fuel injector fuel supply
pipe union.
