ENGINE MOUNTING
Left-hand suspended engine mounting: Removal - Refitting

-the support bolt for the left-hand suspended en-
gine mounting on the gearbox62 (N.m).
a Remove:
-the safety strap(s) from the (Mot. 1453),
-the (Mot. 1453) fitted with the (Mot. 1453-01).
II - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit the hydraulic clutch pipe.
a Clip the hydraulic clutch pipe onto the left suspen-
ded engine mounting.
a Remove the blanking plugs from:
-the opening of the clutch master cylinder,
-the openings of the hydraulic clutch pipe,
-the opening of the hydraulic clutch release bearing.
a Connect the hydraulic clutch pipe to:
-the hydraulic clutch release bearing,
-the clutch master cylinder.
a Remove the tool (Ms. 583) from the clutch master
cylinder supply hose.
a Bleed the hydraulic clutch circuit (see Clutch cir-
cuit: Bleeding) (37A, Mechanical component con-
trols).
a Clip the battery wiring channel onto the left-hand
suspended engine mounting.
a Refit the upper engine tie-bar.
a Tighten to torque:
-the upper engine tie-bar bolt on the engine (115
N.m),
-the upper engine tie-bar bolt on the body (105
N.m).
a Refit:
-the scoop under the scuttle panel grille (see Scoop
under scuttle panel grille: Removal - Refitting)
(56A, Exterior equipment),
-the scuttle panel grille (see Scuttle panel grille:
Removal - Refitting) (56A, Exterior equipment),
-the windscreen wiper arms (see Windscreen wi-
per arm: Removal - Refitting) (85A, Wiping -
Washing).
a Refit the lower engine tie-bar.
a Tighten to torque:
- the lower engine tie-bar bolt on the subframe
(180 N.m),
- the lower engine tie-bar bolt on the lower engi-
ne tie-bar support (180 N.m).
a Refit the lower engine tie-bar (see 19D, Engine
mounting, Lower engine tie-bar: Removal - Refit-
ting, page 19D-33) .
a Refit:
- the engine undertray,
- the air filter unit (see 12A, Fuel mixture, Air filter
unit: Removal - Refitting, page 12A-4) ,
- the battery tray (see Battery tray: Removal - Re-
fitting) (80A, Battery),
- the battery (see Battery : Removal - Refitting)
(80A, Battery).
