ENGINE MOUNTING
Left-hand suspended engine mounting: Removal - Refitting

a Remove:
-the exhaust connecting hose nuts (2) ,
-the bolt (3) for the exhaust connecting hose rubber
mounting bush,
-the exhaust connecting hose seal.
a Remove the exhaust connecting hose.
a Remove:
-the front left-hand wheel (see Wheel: Removal -
Refitting) (35A, Wheels and tyres),
- the front section of the front left-hand wheel arch
liner (see Front wheel arch liner: Removal - Re-
fitting) (55A, Exterior protection).
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Fit the (Mot. 1453) fitted with the (Mot. 1453-01)
with a safety strap(s).
a Remove the bolt (4) for the support on the manual
gearbox from the left-hand suspended engine
mounting.
a Detach the support on the gearbox from the left-
hand suspended engine mounting rubber pad.
a Mark the position of the left-hand suspended engine
mounting support on the vehicle body using a inde-
lible pencil.
