ENGINE MOUNTING
Right-hand suspended engine mounting: Removal - Refitting

-the bolts for the right-hand suspended engine
mounting « rubber pad - cover » assembly on
the body (62 N.m).
a Refit the upper engine tie-bar.
a Tighten to torque:
-the bolt for the upper engine tie-bar on the ri-
ght-hand suspended engine mounting support
(115 N.m),
-the upper engine tie-bar bolt on the body (105
N.m).
II - FINAL OPERATION
a Remove the safety strap(s) from the tool (Mot.
1453).
a Remove the (Mot. 1453) fitted with the (Mot. 1453-
01).
a Refit:
-the bonnet stop,
-the scoop under the scuttle panel grille (see Scoop
under scuttle panel grille: Removal - Refitting)
(56A, Exterior equipment),
-the scuttle panel grille (see Scuttle panel grille:
Removal - Refitting) (56A, Exterior equipment),
-the windscreen wiper arms (see Windscreen wi-
per arm: Removal - Refitting) (85A, Wiping -
Washing).
a Position the fuel pipes.
a Clip the fuel pipes onto the « rubber pad - cover »
assembly of the right-hand suspended engine
mounting.
a Remove the blanking plugs from:
-the opening of the manual priming pump,
-the opening of the fuel supply pipe.
a Connect the fuel supply pipe union to the union of
the manual priming pump.
a Remove the blanking plugs from:
- the diesel return pipe opening,
- the opening of the fuel return rail.
a Connect the diesel fuel return pipe to the fuel return
rail.
a Remove the blanking plugs from:
- the diesel return pipe opening,
- the opening of the high pressure pump union.
a Connect the diesel fuel return pipe to the high pres-
sure pump union.
a Refit the lower engine tie-bar.
a Tighten to torque:
- the lower engine tie-bar bolt on the subframe
(180 N.m),
- the lower engine tie-bar bolt on the lower engi-
ne tie-bar support (180 N.m).
a Refit the lower engine tie-bar (see 19D, Engine
mounting, Lower engine tie-bar: Removal - Refit-
ting, page 19D-33) .
a Refit the engine undertray.
