(9) User access code When the accounting mode ("Access
Code" key) or security accounting mode
("Access Code/Super User Mode" key) is
selected with service tool 2-08, the
following are available with this function:
1) Up to 500 user codes can be
registered.
2) The registered user codes can be
changed or deleted.
3) The number of copies made using
each user code can be displayed. The
data can also be printed if the optional
printer and printer connector unit are
installed.
NOTE: The DIP switch setting (the
printer side) is different from that for the
F200. The data bit length for the F200 is
7-bit, and that for the F5 is 8-bit.
4) When the security accounting mode is
selected, selected only key operators can
use the above features. Other operators
can only check the number of copies
made using their own user codes.
5) In the security accounting mode,
selected key operators can disable the
use of normal user codes by selecting
the "Key Operator Only" key.
Press [9] of the menu of the user tools.

Select "Set Code/Display Data/Print
Data".

Press "Enter Code/Change Code/Delete
Code" for "Set Code" and "One
Code/Range of Codes /All Codes" for
"Display Data/Print Data".
* When the security accounting mode is
selected, only selected key operators can
press "Key Operator Only" after selecting
"Enter Code".
How to enter the copy mode in the
accounting mode
Enter one of the user access codes by
pressing the Number keys.
How to leave the copy mode in the
accounting mode
Press the Clear/Stop key while pressing
the Clear Modes key. When service tool
utility (4-05) 13-5-10 is ON, the copier
automatically leaves the copy mode and
requires user access codes to use the
copier after the time set with service tool
[2-13].
NOTE: When the main control board is
replaced with a new one, all data in user
tool [9] must be cleared in order to reset
RAM of the main control board and start
up the use of the user access code mode.
