O Enter each item in the “LAN Port” group, “DNS Server” group, and “Wire-
less LAN” group (When an optional Wireless LAN installed).
Note
❒ When using DHCP, select “Enable” in the [DHCP], and do not input any-
thing in [IP address], [Subnet mask] and [Default gateway address]. These val-
ues are automatically given from the DHCP Server. Make the same
settings when you give the static IP address by the DHCP Server.
❒ When DHCP is “Disable”, enter appropriate numbers (for example, x.x.x.x
with x representing 0 to 255), in [IP address], [Subnet mask] and [Default gate-
way address].
❒ Enter the IP address for [Main DNS server] and [Sub DNS server] (Leave the
box blank if it does not exist) when entering the proxy server name and/or
the SMTP server name instead of the IP address. Enter appropriate num-
bers for [Main DNS server] and [Sub DNS server] (for example, x.x.x.x with x
representing 0 to 255).
❒ If you have installed an optional Wireless LAN card, select "Wired" or
"Wireless" from [LAN type]. If you select "Wireless", enter all items from
[SSID] to [WEP key].
❒ Do not change the items in the “Maintenance Port” group.

P Click [Apply].

❒ If you click [Back] instead of [Apply], the [RC Gate Registration Wizard: Confirm
Network Settings] screen appears. Settings entered are retained.
A confirmation dialogue box to reboot this equipment appears.
Q Click [OK].
The equipment will be rebooted.
Note
❒ It will take a few minutes to reboot the equipment. It will take a longer time
depending on the network environment.
All indicators in the front of the equipment will blink for a while. When the
reboot is completed, the green and orange indicator will appear and red indi-
cator will be off.
R Click [Top Page] on the upper right of this page.
Log in screen appears.
