Rack Mounting the SteelFusion Edge Appliances Mounting the SteelFusion Edge appliances using the extendable rail
To mount the appliance to a four-post rack
1. Install the outer rails to the rack posts. (See Figure 2-2.)

2. Verify the ball bearing retainer is locked in the forward position of the outer rails. (See Figure 2-3.)
Caution: The ball bearing retainer on the outer rail must be returned to the forward position to connect with the
inner rail on the chassis. The bearings might fall off if the ball bearing retainer is not pushed forward.

3. With two people lifting the appliance, gently slide the inner rails into the outer rails until you reach
a hard stop.
