Monthly maintenance
o Unclamp the left electrode holder by moving the clamp forward.

o Remove the reference electrode assembly from the analyzer
o Unscrew the reference electrode from the reference housing. Store the reference
electrode in the red transport housing filled with reference solution.

The reference solution can be taken from the reference electrode housing.

Always store the reference electrode in reference solution.
o Pour Deproteinizer into a small container and submerge the reference housing
into it, ensuring that no air bubbles remain in the housing.

The reference connector and tubing do not need to be submerged.
o After 15 minutes, remove the reference housing from the Deproteinizer.
Thoroughly rinse the housing with distilled water and dry with a lint-free cloth.
WARNING
Improper cleaning of the reference electrode housing may lead to incorrect
patient results
Failing to rinse out the reference electrode housing with distilled water after cleaning
may lead to incorrect patient results, which may endanger patient lives.
r Carefully follow the reference electrode housing procedure. Ensure that you rinse
the reference electrode housing with distilled water and dry it with a lint-free cloth.
r Perform a calibration after cleaning the reference electrode housing.
