NOTE: If the unit is configured as end of line, the end of line blue led lights up
in order to ease the identification of bus endings.
5. In the next screen the display shows the message “Dir.” followed by an
animated bar graphic. This parameter allows setting the fluid flow direction
through the unit.
6. Press F1 button to set flow direction so that the animated bars movement
matches the fluid flow in the unit. Press F2 button to confirm.
7. Having reached this point, the unit stores in its memory all the parameters
introduced and it is restarted with these new parameters.
NOTE: In the case that the unit is restarted before reaching this last step (due
to a power loss or whatever reason), the parameters introduced will not be
stored in the unit
4.4.5 LOCAL PARAMETERS SETUP ON UVIEW
Before the unit can operate, a few configuration steps for local parameters must be
accomplished:
1. To Access the configuration menu, press and hold both the SET and ENTER
buttons simultaneously until the display shows “LOCAL SETUP”
2. Then, “ADD” is displayed on the screen to indicate that the local address
can be set. Automatically a counter is displayed. The count is incremented
from one to 126. When the desired address number is displayed, press
ENTER to confirm the number. If you want to reset the counter, press SET.
3. Once the address is confirmed, “E.O.L” is displayed on the screen to set the
end of line resistor. “ON” (led “E.O.L” on) or “OFF” (led “EOL” off) is
displayed according to the last saved status. To change the status, press
the “SET” button and then press ENTER to confirm.
4. “MODE” is displayed on the screen to set the display mode during a
transaction. To change the mode, press SET until the desired mode, “STD”
(standard) or “XXL” are displayed. Once the mode is set, press “ENTER” to
confirm.
5. “OK!” is displayed on the screen and the unit restarts showing the standby
screen.
4.4.6 LOCAL PARAMETERS SETUP ON UVISION / UVISION+
This unit can be paired with a
UMeter+, UValve or UCount unit.
