3.2 LOCATION OF THE CONNECTION POINTS / INDICATING LEDS
3.2.1 UDAT / UDAT Power+
In the UDat and UDat Power+ boards we can find:
1. By-pass key switch: It bypasses the units which are powered up by the UDat.
2. BUS OUT Quick Connector: It transfers power and communication to the network.
Wiring from this BUS OUT connector has to be linked to BUS IN connector if
connected to another UDat / UDat Power+
3. BUS IN Quick Connector: It transfers communication (not power) to the network.
Wiring from this BUS IN connector has to be linked to BUS OUT connector if
connected to another UDat / UDat Power+
IMPORTANT: In the last two cases (2 and 3), if the items to be connected need to be
powered up, then all the wires (BLACK/RED/SCREEN/WHITE/BLUE) must be
connected and it must be done only in the BUS OUT connector. If they only need to
