5 Mechanical installation
5.1 In the UOH11B/21B stand-alone housing
INFORMATION
• Installation of the DH.21B/41B controller into the UOH11B/21B stand-alone hous-
ing may only be performed by SEW‑EURODRIVE.
The controller is installed directly at the terminal strip with the installation set.
5.2 In MOVIDRIVE

• The DH.21B/41B option card can only be installed or removed for MOVIDRIVE
®
MDX61B sizes 1 to 6.
• The installation or removal of the DH.21V/41B option card in the MOVIDRIVE
®
MDX61B size 0 drive inverters is restricted to SEW‑EURODRIVE engineers only.
Plug the DHE21B/41B option card into the fieldbus option slot of
MOVIDRIVE
®
MDX61B (not MOVIDRIVE
®
MDX60B). If the fieldbus option slot is not
available, you can plug the DHE21B/41B option card into the expansion slot.
5.2.1 Before you start
Read the following notes before installing or removing the DH.21B/41B option
card:
• De-energize the drive inverter. Disconnect the DC24V supply voltage and the line
voltage.
• Before touching the DH.21B/41B option card, take appropriate measures (dis-
charge strap, conductive shoes, etc.) to protect it from electrostatic charge.
• Before installing the DH.21B/41B option card, remove the keypad and the front
cover.
• After installing the DH.21B/41B option card, replace the front cover and the
keypad.
• Keep the DH.21B/41B option card in its original packaging until immediately before
you are ready to install it.
• Hold the DH.21B/41B option card only by its edges. Do not touch any of the com-
ponents.
• Never place the DH.21B/41B option card on a conductive surface.
