1.5 Exclusion of liability
Read the information in this documentation, otherwise safe operation is impossible.

specified product characteristics and performance features. SEW‑EURODRIVE as-
sumes no liability for injury to persons or damage to equipment or property resulting
from non-observance of these operating instructions. In such cases,
SEW‑EURODRIVE assumes no liability for defects.
1.6 Other applicable documentation
• Read through this documentation carefully before you commence installation and
startup of the DH.21B/41B option card.
The documentation applies to the connected devices:
• Operating instructions of the devices (e.g. MOVIDRIVE

• Only electrical specialists are allowed to perform installation and startup observing
the relevant accident prevention regulations and the operating instructions of the
connected devices (e.g. MOVIDRIVE

).
• For devices with functional safety, also observe the corresponding manual "Func-
tional Safety" or "Safe Disconnection – Conditions".
• You must adhere to the information in the documentation as a prerequisite to fault-
free operation and fulfillment of warranty claims.
