Performance class "advanced"
The "advanced" performance class is intended for application modules with single-axis
and multi-axis functionality and fast response times. The following application modules
are available:
• Single-axis functionality, see performance class "standard"(→212)
• Multi-axis functionality:
– "Energy-efficient storage/retrieval system"
– "HandlingKinematics" for gantries and robots

• As option card DH.21B/41B for MOVIDRIVE

B inverters
(only DHE21B/41B)
• In the UOH11B/21B stand-alone housing for mounting rail installation
4.3 Fieldbus interfaces of the device designs
Three types of DH.21B/41B controllers are available, which differ in the fieldbus inter-
faces.

4.4 Communication interfaces
The DH.21B/41B controller has various communication interfaces.
The system bus interfaces CAN1/CAN2 are primarily used for connecting several in-
verters and for integrating decentralized I/O modules.
This machine module can be operated via the integrated fieldbus interface with a
higher-level controller.
An operator panel (e.g. DOP11B) or a gearmotor with integrated frequency inverter
MOVIMOT
®
is connected to the engineering interface COM1/COM2 (RS485).
