"Link/Activity" LEDs
The two LEDs "Link" (green) and "Activity" (yellow) integrated in the RJ45 plug con-
nectors (X30-1, X30-2) display the state of the Ethernet connection.

Status LED Meaning
Green There is an Ethernet connection.
Off There is no Ethernet connection.
"Activity" LED
Status LED Operating status
Yellow Data is currently being exchanged via Ethernet.

LEDs "L13" and "L14" indicate the current state of the DHR21B/41B controller and the
EtherNet/IP
TM
or Modbus/TCP system.
LED "L13" (NETWORK STATUS)
Status LED Operating status
Green There is a controlling connection to the fieldbus system.
Green, flashing No controlling connection.
Green/red, flashing The controller performs a self-test.
Red, flashing The previously established controlling connection has timed
out. The status can be reset by restarting the communication.
Red Conflict detected in the assigned IP addresses. Another node
in the network uses the same IP address.
Off No IP address parameter has been assigned to the controller
yet.
LED "L14" (MODULE STATUS)
Status LED Meaning
Off The option card is either not supplied with voltage, or it is
faulty.
