Status LED Status Meaning
Red, flashing every
125ms
BUS WARNING The device is performing a DUP-MAC
check and cannot send any messages
because no other stations are connec-
ted to the bus (error passive state).
Red, flashing with 1Hz BUS WARNING The number of physical bus errors is
too high. No more error telegrams are
actively written to the bus (error pass-
ive state).
Red BUS ERROR
• BusOff state
• The number of physical bus errors
has increased despite switchover
to error-passive state. Access to
the bus is switched off.
Yellow POWER OFF External voltage supply has been
turned off or is not connected.

The DHR21B/41B controller comes equipped with 4 LEDs (L11 – L14) that indicate
the present state of the controller in EtherNet/IP and MODBUS/TCP mode.

8.3.1 LEDs in PROFINET mode
LED "L13" (BUS FAULT)
LED "L13" (BUS FAULT) indicates the PROFINET state.
