4 Turn the SET-PUSH dial (Q) to select
“MULTI FRAME”, and then press the
dial (W) to select “9” (9-frame picture) or
“16” (16-frame picture).
5 Press the MENU/DISPLAY button to
turn off the menu screen.
Using Multiple Strobe Recording
1 Set the camcorder to Tape Recording
mode.
2 In Recording Standby mode, press the
STILL button.
• A multi-frame picture of the subject is
displayed.
3 Press the REC START/STOP button.
• The multi-frame picture will be recorded.
In SNAP mode, the camcorder returns to
Recording Standby mode after recording
a multi-frame picture for 6 seconds.
To pause recording
Press the REC START/STOP button.
To cancel the multi-frame picture
In SNAP mode, press the STILL button while
the camcorder is in Recording Standby
mode.
In STILL mode, press the STILL button.
Notes:
• Multiple Strobe Recording can also be used
during recording by pressing the STILL button.
• The picture quality in Multiple Strobe Recording
mode will be slightly lower than normal pictures.
• Multiple Strobe Recording cannot be used
with the digital zoom or picture effects.
Multiple Strobe Recording
The multiple strobe recording function allows
you to record a fast-moving subject at intervals
of 1/8 of a second using a 9- or 16-frame
picture. This is useful when you want to check
your form in sports such as tennis or golf.
Setting Multiple Strobe Recording
Mode
1 Set the camcorder to Tape Recording
mode.
2 Press the MENU/DISPLAY button until
the menu screen appears.
3 Turn the SET-PUSH dial (Q) to select
“PHOTO SNAP”, and then press the dial
(W) to select “SNAP” or “STILL”.
