3.0 Operating Procedures
Start Up and Dealing Procedures
Passwords
There are two primary password levels used in the MD2® CR – the General
password and the Administrator password. The General password is used
in the Section 4 Setup Procedures and Adjustments and in the web pages
of Section 5. The Administrator password is used in the web pages, as
well, and allows access to all web page functionality. Contact SHFL
entertainment, Inc. Engineering to obtain these passwords.
! CAUTION !
The Feeder drops quickly when power is restored. Make certain no
objects will block its path as it falls.
Plug the power cord into a 110V/60Hz or 220V/50Hz outlet. Turn the
shuffler power switch to the ON position. The shuffler will perform
system initialization. If there are cards left in the machine, it will display a
message on the Message Panel to remove the cards.
After all cards are removed, the message panel will display:
The message panel will then alternate two displays which allow the card
deck type to be verified and accepted or changed:

Press the GREEN button to accept the currently selected card type.
Press the RED button to scroll through the available card deck types.
Press the GREEN button to accept the new card deck type.
