Although the ‘Download to PC’ option appears in the Service Menu,
support for the feature has never been available on the MD2 CR.
Misread card errors, shuffler status information and other diagnostic data
are available through the ‘History’ web page, as described on Page 27.
Platform Position
This menu item allows the Platform to be moved to two different
locations from home. Press the RED button to move the Platform.
Monitor the encoder readout on the message panel to check if the
Platform is working. Encoder value 0 = Platform in lowest position (down).
Typical encoder values are 3975 and 4350, indicating two positions with
the first being physically lower than the other.
Grippers
This menu item allows the motors, grippers and switches to be tested.
Press the RED button to move the grippers. Successively pushing the RED
button will move the Gripper Forward to GWS, Gripper Close In, Gripper
Retract to GWS, and Gripper Home Out.
Speed-Up Rollers
This menu item allows the Speed Up Motor and Rollers to be tested. Press
the RED button to control the Speed Up Rollers forward – stop – reverse.
