Resetting Serial Number
Important
The serial number should only be changed to match the serial number
stamped into the base plate of the shuffler.
Press the GREEN button to advance to the Serial Number Menu. The
message panel will display the serial number of the machine. To change
the number, press the RED button to advance the cursor to the desired
character, and press the GREEN button to change the character.
Return the cursor to the far right after the changes have been made, and
push the GREEN button to save the setting.
Tuning Card Types
This option will allow a service technician to fine tune a card deck type
that was previously downloaded into the
MD2® CR
. This process is called
Tune Cards here, but it is really the second step of a process to align the
camera optics to read and recognize cards with accuracy. In order for the
shuffler to learn cards, a computer must be connected and configured to
connect to the shuffler. Typically this will be a laptop in the field. See
Section 6.0 of this manual for instructions on how to “tune” a deck for
card recognition.

Use the GREEN button to page through the menu until ‘Network Options’
is displayed.
Use the RED button to page through the network sub-menu options.
