Web Page and PC Connectivity Troubleshooting
Symptom Cause Remedy
The Shuffler and PC do not
communicate.
Network is Disabled in the
shuffler
Enable Network in
Setup/Network Options
DHCP is Enabled in the
shuffler
Disable DHCP in
Setup/Network Options (For
stand-alone)
The Proxy Server is ‘On’
Turn off the Proxy Server in
the PC
A Crossover adapter is
missing
Connect an adapter to one
end of the network cable.
(Only for desktop and older
laptop PCs)
If using IE7 as the
browser, Microsoft NET
Framework 3 0 is installed
on the PC causing a
network conflict
Uninstall the application from
the PC
A proper Network cable is
not installed
Connect the PC and the
shuffler with a standard CAT-
5 patch cable
The Wi-Fi application on
the PC is not “Disabled”
Don’t just turn the
application “Off” It must be
“Disabled”
IP Address will not broadcast to
the Deck Manager from the
Serial Viewer.
A proper Serial cable is not
installed when using the
Serial Viewer
Connect the serial cable from
the PC to the connector on
the Rabbit Board
The PC security Firewall is
preventing the connection
Disable the security firewall in
the PC
No address broadcast to Deck
Manager after cycling power to
the shuffler.
