5.0 Shuffler Web Pages
Integrated Web Pages
The
MD2® CR
with Card Recognition is a network device with integrated
web pages; a user can connect to the shuffler and access these web
pages to change shuffler settings, add new or delete old deck types,
review card images, view card recognition errors, and perform other
configuration actions using the browser.
Card Learning is another procedure that is facilitated by using the web
pages in conjunction with displayed message panel procedures.
Connecting to the
MD2® CR
Shuffler
Although the web pages can be accessed over a network from any
browser (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer), typically the shuffler will be
connected to a laptop used for technical service. In this case, the shuffler
acts as a server and the laptop (or desktop) computer is connected,
possibly using a crossover network cable if required. The “network” here
consists of the laptop and the
MD2® CR
Shuffler. This section generally
describes how to connect the laptop to the shuffler, since there may be
some subtle differences.
