If the cards catch on the gripper pads during the lean test, mechanical
travel of the gripper arms will need to be increased. Remove the two
shoulder screws holding the Gripper Block with the plastic ACME
threaded nut. Rotate the block ¼ turn clockwise and re-install the
shoulder screws. It is not necessary to loosen the clip that holds the
ACME Nut into the block. Center the gripper assembly in the frame using
Fixture F1099.
Perform the Auto Setup Procedure
Activate the Auto Setup procedure in the MD2® Setup menu and assure
that the procedure completes successfully.
