2. Loosen the four mounting screws in the
Gripper Adjusting Brackets. (Two screws
on each side).
3. Raise the Platform by hand and insert the
Platform Leveling Gauge (F1099).
4. Lower the Platform so that the top edge of
the gauge is even with the lowest 1/16” of
the gripping surface.
5. Turn the screw pulley by hand until the
grippers will hold up and support the
gauge.
6. Center the gauge in the Elevator space.
7. Tighten the screws in the Gripper Adjusting Bracket.
8. Open the Grippers and leave the leveling gauge on the Platform.
9. Proceed to the next step of leveling the grippers to the Platform.
Leveling the Grippers to the
Platform
1. Slightly loosen the screws on
the adjustable side that secure
the Gripper Pivot Blocks.
2. Close the grippers by turning the pulley by
hand.
3. Raise the Platform and leveling gauge by
moving the Platform belt until it contacts
the bottom of the gripper pads.
4. Tighten the Pivot Block screws.
