The factory default setting of the parameters is shown:
Operating mode addressed at position byte 1.
Measuring units per revolution addressed at position byte 2…5.
Measuring range addressed at position byte 6…9.
For linear encoders, the ‘Measuring Step’ parameter corresponds with bytes 2/3 and 4/5 of the
‘Measuring Units per Revolution’ (CPR) parameter for rotary encoders.
The value is given in nanometres (nm) [32-bit unsigned].
The KHK53 linear encoder has a physical resolution of 0.1mm
per measuring step.
