The two versions of the GPP differ with regard to the filter, which is suitable for different
applications, as shown in page 14.
Advantages of the
GPP probes
The GPP probes do not require a purge-air supply, are easy to maintain, and are equipped
with a controlled heater for the optical boundary surfaces to prevent condensate formation.
The electronic components for the heater regulator, and temperature and pressure
measurements are safely stored in a stable cast-metal housing in the Chapter of the
measuring probe between the duct flange and the SR unit.
In this picture, this housing contains the electrical connections for the power supply and the
CAN bus, as well as the test gas connection for performing audit measurements according
to EPA Specification CFR 40, Part 60 or Part 75.
Overview of the GM35 measuring probes
The table below contains an overview of the features of the different measuring probes. All
of the measuring probe versions are compatible with each SR unit type, as shown in table
below. The SR unit is calibrated for use with the respective probe length on delivery.
