The index is 4 bytes long. The 32 bits are each allocated to one of the Flexi Loop nodes.
Bit 0 t
o 31 correspond to the Flexi Loop nodes 32 to 1.
The bit is 1 if there is a different Flexi Loop node configuration.
The bit is 0 if there is no difference.
Checksum
Using t
he Flexi Loop CRC command you can read the checksum for the currently valid
configuration.
Cable connection
You can open information on possible cable breaks using the Cable integrity check com‐
mand.
The subindex Status contains the status of the cables.
0: cable connection in order, safe sensor cascade terminated
1: communication cable with short-circuit to GND
2: communication cable with short-circuit to VDC
3: more nodes than allowed and safe sensor cascade not terminated
4: more nodes than allowed and safe sensor cascade terminated
The subindex Position contains the node position after which an interruption has been
detected.
