9.6 TEMS Manager Command Line Tool
9.6.1 Introduction
Starting from TEMS Recorder version 2.0.7, a command line version of the TEMS Manager
is available for handling TEMS recorder devices from a Windows computer with a .NET 4.0
installed.
TEMS Manager Command Line (with executable Ectn.Tems.TemsManagerCmd.exe at the
default installation path C:\Program Files\SICK\TEMS Manager) has a text-based user
interface intended to be used with the Windows command line (cmd.exe) or in Powershell.
Using TEMS Manager Command Line, the following functionality is available:
1. Connection to a TEMS Recorder instance

Using IP Address / Host Name and optionally port number
▸
Using the serial number of the TEMS Recorder
2. Uploading a site configuration (in temsXml format)
3. Downloading current site configuration (in temsXml format)
4. Downloading TEMS Recorder configuration (in temsXml format)
5. Querying TEMS Recorder state (in temsXml format)
6. Stopping / restarting the current site configuration
7. Executing administrative tasks

Setting the time

Updating firmware

Changing or setting a serial number (only possible for customers with an OEM
