4.2 Mounting 2D LiDAR sensors
4.2.1 Mounting the TIC102
Risk of injury due to falling components
One TIC102 weighs approximately 16 kg.
Measures
Do not perform any mounting work alone.
Ask a second person to hold the components during mounting.
Wear safety shoes.
4.2.1.1 Noting the serial numbers of the 2D LiDAR sensors for several TIC102 Slaves
If the measurement site is intended to have more than one TIC102 Slave, you must note
the serial numbers of the LMS111 installed in the housing before mounting. This
information is required during commissioning when manually assigning the devices to the
system functions in TEMS Manager.
Completely open the housing cover of the TIC102. Pull both cover screws outwards and
turn them in the connection. The housing cover pops open.
The serial number of the LMS111 is located on the left-hand side of the device.

Note which components of the TIC102 have which serial numbers and mark the TIC102
accordingly so that it can be mounted at the right place.
