Components
The OEM version of the virtual Traffic Controller is made up of the following components:
• The TrafficControllerOEM.vdi file. The vdi file (virtual disk image) contains an image
of the virtual machine with the operating system and the profiling software TEMS
Recorder.
• The TrafficControllerOEM.vbox file. The vbox file contains the complete virtual
machine. The configuration file in XML format can be opened and edited in Editor.
• The license for the Windows 7 Embedded operating system used by the virtual
machine.
Supported operating systems
The virtual machine can be installed on the following operating systems on the customer’s
host server:
• Windows 7 Professional
• Linux Ubuntu 12.04
• CentOS 6.4
System requirements
In addition to the resources for the host server’s operating system, the following
requirements must be met in order to use the virtual Traffic Controller on the host server:
General
Standard PC or comparable computer, 64 bit
≥ 32 GB free storage space on the hard drive (recommended: 100 GB)
At least 2 GB RAM (recommended: 4 GB RAM)
WEB browser with the current version. This browser must support HTML5 and WebGL.
Data interface: Ethernet 10/100 Mbit or 1000 Mbit
Adapter1: LAN External (192.168.10.200)
Adpater2: LAN Devices (192.168.20.200)
Standard screen (VGA or DVI)
