The 2D LiDAR sensor mounted on the side of the vehicle edge must be on the same level

as the associated system function (TIC102 / TIC502). The line through the intersection

point between the LMS Width and LMS Length is taken as the level.

Please refer to the diagram below to see how the vertical and horizontal distances of the

LMS Axle should be combined for the best possible measurement results.

• The dark green triangle (1) marks the area where the LMS Axle will achieve the best

possible performance.

• A mounting position within the light green triangle (2) will provide good to very good

results.
