Procedure - installing a memory module
1.
Install the memory modules in the
following order:
1.
DIMM 2-1
2.
DIMM 1-1
3.
DIMM 2-2
4.
DIMM 1-2
2.
Remove the memory module from
its packaging.
Hold it by the upper edges only.
Note the indicated notch during
insertion.
3.
Insert the memory module in the
slot perpendicular to the
motherboard.
4.
Press both sides of the memory
module evenly to avoid jamming.
The memory module latches in
audibly.
The memory module is inserted
correctly if less than 1
mm of the
gold contacts is visible evenly
across the entire length of the
module.
5.
Close the device.
