Requirements for commissioning
The following requirements must be met in order to commission the ET 200PA SMART:
● DP slave installed
● PROFIBUS address set on the DP slave
● Bus connector connected
● If the DP slave is located on the end of the segment, then the terminating resistor is
connected to the DP slave.
● DP slave configured
● Supply voltage for DP master switched on
● Configuration downloaded to the DP master
● DP master switched to RUN operating state
Commissioning the DP slave
Commission the DP slave as follows:
1. Switch on the supply voltage for ET 200PA SMART.
2. If necessary, switch on the supply voltage for the load.
