Introduction
The following redundancy scenario describes the effects in case of a defect of both PROFINET
lines in PROFINET ring 1 at the primary CPU with R1 devices.
Failure scenario
Two fiber-optic cables (redundancy connections)
PROFINET cable (PROFINET ring 1)
PROFINET cable (PROFINET ring 2)
PROFINET lines → interrupted
