Adequately dimensioned connecting cables, torsion, strain and shear relief as well as anti-kink protection are
provided for the connection cables.

The protective conductor (only for protection class I) is connected at the grounding point. 
There is no foreign matter, dirt or moisture in the terminal box. 
Unused cable entries and the terminal box itself are sealed so that the speci󹪝ed degree of protection ac‐
cording to EN60529 is maintained.


• Connect the spring-applied single-disk brake module to the direct voltage. Use a recti󹪝er
bridge or half-wave recti󹪝er for electrical connection to an AC power system.
• For brakes with integrated recti󹪝ers, you can connect the spring-applied single-disk brake
module directly to alternating voltage.
• See the 󹪝gure for the terminal assignment.
• For brakes with a connecting terminal, you must connect the brake module directly to direct
voltage. Connect the customer-speci󹪝c connection cable to the terminals or to the integrated
recti󹪝er. Use a screwed cable gland (M16 x 1.5) for the connection.
• You must remove the cover of the terminal box to connect the individual cores of the
connecting cable to the connecting terminals or to the terminals of the integrated recti󹪝er.
