Adequately dimensioned connecting cables, torsion, strain and shear relief as well as anti-kink protection are
provided for the connection cables.
The protective conductor (only for protection class I) is connected at the grounding point.
There is no foreign matter, dirt or moisture in the terminal box.
Unused cable entries and the terminal box itself are sealed so that the speci󹪝ed degree of protection ac‐
cording to EN60529 is maintained.

Connect the spring-applied single-disk brake module to the direct voltage. Use a recti󹪝er
bridge or half-wave recti󹪝er for electrical connection to an AC power system.
For brakes with integrated recti󹪝ers, you can connect the spring-applied single-disk brake
module directly to alternating voltage.
See the 󹪝gure for the terminal assignment.
For brakes with a connecting terminal, you must connect the brake module directly to direct
voltage. Connect the customer-speci󹪝c connection cable to the terminals or to the integrated
recti󹪝er. Use a screwed cable gland (M16 x 1.5) for the connection.
You must remove the cover of the terminal box to connect the individual cores of the
connecting cable to the connecting terminals or to the terminals of the integrated recti󹪝er.
