Installing temperature sensors
If there is no sensor pre-assembled in the meter, the sensor must be
installed on the short cable (80 cm) in the same strand as the meter itself.
The second sensor (in lengths 1.5 m or 3 m) is installed in the respective-
ly opposite strand.
Installation set temperature sensor indirectly immersed (immersion sleeve)
Immersion sleeves are sometimes also approved for new installations, if these
are MID-conform. Only use the following immersion sleeves:
Sensor Ø 5.0: FKM0038, sensor Ø 5.2: FKM0039
Try out steps 1-3 in succession with the positions of the temperature sensor

until you are sure that the TF is in the immersion
sleeve as far as it will go and the TF thread engages with the
thread of the immersion sleeve.
Insertthetemperaturesensorinthehalshellscrettingenclosed
itthesecondhalothescrettinginsuchaathatthelockingpinso
the one half latch into the recesses of the other half.
(3) Push the temperature sensor into the immersion sleeve as far as it will go.
(4) Use a tightening torque of approx. 3 Nm (hand-tight) to tighten the TF with
screttingintheimmersionsleeve
When the temperature sensor is installed in immersion sleeves from other
manufacturers the type of attachment can deviate from the above descrip-
tion. If necessary, use the attachment material of the device you have
removed
