Moves highlighted waypoint one place up/down in the waypoint
table
Displays the highlighted waypoint in center of the display
Deletes the highlighted waypoint
The waypoint table is also used for entering information about
critical points in the route. Refer Specifying critical waypoints,
page 86.
Checking the route
For route symbols, refer page 78.
When a route is created or modified, the legs will be
automatically checked if the Check Route function is activated.
The function is activated by tapping the Route menu followed
by the Check Route command, or by tapping the Check Route
menu key.
The route will not be approved if it is crossing own ship's safety
contour, crossing the boundary of a prohibited area or a
geographical area for which special conditions exist.
While the system is checking the route, the legs will be drawn
with a wide blue line.
When a leg is checked and approved, this will be indicated with
a narrow red line.
A leg that is checked and not approved will be indicated with a
wide red line.
