M215SC User Manual Using the phone
Using a wired headset
When a wired headset is plugged into the headset jack, audio input and output will automatically be transferred
to the headset. The headphone symbol
is displayed in the info line to the left of the battery symbol.
Note: When speakerphone mode is turned on by pressing
, audio via the headset is turned
o for as long as speakerphone is on.
Using speakerphone
During an active call, press
to turn on speakerphone. The red LED on the key lights up, and the
speakerphone symbol is displayed in the info line to the left of the battery symbol.
Using dierent dialing methods
Dialing manually
1. From the idle screen, enter the number on the keypad.
2. Press
to dial. Alternatively, press to dial if you want to use speakerphone for the call.
Note: You can also press
at any time during an active call to continue on speakerphone.
Redialing
1. Press
to show the last number dialed.
2. Press
to show numbers dialed earlier.
3. Press
DIAL
or to dial the number on the display.
Calling number from call history (missed, received, dialed calls)
1. Press
MENU
or .
2. Press
to scroll to Call history, then press
ENTER
or to open the menu.
3. The list of Missed Calls is highlighted. Press
to scroll if you want to view Received Calls or Dialed Calls
instead.
4. Press
REVIEW
to view the latest call on the list. Scroll through the list with / .
5. Press
DIAL
or to dial the number on the display.
Calling number from phone directory
1. Press
MENU
or .
2. Press
to scroll to Directory, then press
ENTER
or to open the directory menu.
The Local directory contains the contacts available only on your handset.
The Base directory contains the contacts stored on the base station and available to all handsets
registered at the base station.
If LDAP is available, it can also be selected from the menu.
