ports 1 to 8.
(1) On the set-up menu screen, press the function keys in the following sequence.
[F6] (PERIPH) [F4] (GPI_O)
The GPI OUTPUT menu is displayed.
(2) Press [F2] (PORT). Enter the desired port number using the numeric keys and set it using the
ENTER key.
(3) Press [F3] (TRIGER) to select a trigger polarity.
The polarity is switched among the following five patterns upon pressing [F3] (TRIGER) :
UP : The relay is opened or the output level becomes high when triggered, and this state contin-
ues according to the width of the output pulse.
DOWN : The relay is closed or the output level becomes low when triggered, and this state continues
according to the width of the output pulse.
CROSS: The relay is opened or closed alternately, or the output level is switched to the high or low
level every time the trigger starts.
NOP : The relay state and output level are not affected by the trigger.
TALLY : The GPI output is used as a tally (signal) for a key. The relay is closed or the output level
becomes low when the key is pressed.
When “CROSS”, “NOP” or “TALLY” is selected, proceed to step (5).
(4) Rotate knob 4 to set the output pulse width within 1 to 60 fields.
(5) Rotate knob 5 to select the action for starting the GPI output.
