ADG 1 Battery Analyzer
– Country-specific safety precautions
and the safety instructions in the
user manuals must be observed
when the battery analyzer is
operated.
– To reduce the risk of personal injury,
do not operate the battery analyzer
if it is damaged or not properly
assembled.
– Use the battery analyzer only for
testing type AP batteries approved
by STIHL.
– Visual inspection – check battery for
external damage – check light
emitting diodes on battery.
– Wear personal protective
equipment.
N Unplug the power supply unit.
N Disconnect the diagnostic cable and
power cord from the engine
analyzer.
N Keep the engine analyzer, power
supply unit, diagnostic cable and
power cord in the case supplied and
store it in a dry, locked and safe
location.
N Keep it out of the reach of children
and other unauthorized persons
and protected from contamination.
