Note the permitted mounting positions for the braking resistor.
FZMU, FZZMU tubular fixed resistor
Permitted installation:
§ On vertical surfaces with terminals downwards
§ On horizontal surfaces
§ In control cabinets
Impermissible installation:
§ On vertical surfaces with terminals upwards, left or right
§ Outside of control cabinets
GVADU, GBADU flat resistor
Permitted installation:
§ On vertical surfaces with cables downwards
§ On horizontal surfaces
§ Installation outside of the control cabinet possible for mechanical protection of
the conductors
Impermissible installation:
§ On vertical surfaces with cables upwards
