6.14 Control of a Uk24mod gateway
The Uk24mod gateway is controlled by the C7000IOC using the Modbus RTU protocol.
The Uk24mod gateway can administrate two MP nodes.
The component which is behind an MP node at the time is a pressure-independent water control valve.
The water control valve is controlled by the parameters of the GECW valve.
C7000IOC and Uk24mod gateway are configured at the unit delivery ready for use.
If the configuration is reset to the default settings, the following parameters must be set so that the
communication between the C7000IOC and Uk24mod Gateway works:
1. Assignment of gateway 1 to GECW valve 1
2. Configuration of MP1 node
3. Setting of Modbus ID of the gateway
Find out the Modbus ID by the setting of the dip switches on the Uk24mod gateway. 8 dip switches, by
which the Modbus ID is set in binary form, are located under the front cover.
