• Loosen the flare nuts 9 and disconnect the brake pipes.
• Disconnect the ABS control unit coupler 0.
• Remove the ABS control unit/HU by removing the mounting
bolts.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal. Pay attention to
the following points.
• Tighten the brake pipe flare nuts to the specified torque.
& Brake pipe flare nut: 16 N·m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.5 lb-ft)

• Bleed air from the brake fluid circuit.

* Route the brake hoses and pipes correctly.

* Make sure to hold the brake pipe when tightening the
flare nut, or it may be misaligned.
Never ride the motorcycle before bleeding the air.
