BRAKE CALIPER REMOVAL AND
DISASSEMBLY
Loosen the lock-nut

and remove the parking brake
adjuster

Remove the spring

and disconnect the parking brake
cable

Remove the parking brake lever

Disconnect the brake hose by removing the brake hose union
bolt

and allow the brake fluid to drain into
a
suitable recep-
tacle.
Remove the parking brake housing

and gasket
(0).
Brake fluid, if it leaks. will interfere with safe runnlng
and discolor painted surfaces. Check the brake hose
and hose joints for cracks and fluid leakage.
Remove the brake caliper by removing the caliper mounting
bolts.
NOTE:
Before removing the caliper, sllghtly loosen the caliper holder
slide

facilitate later disassembly.
Remove the pads.
