Place the vehicle on level ground.
Make sure the tire pressure for right and left tires is the same
and set to the proper specification.
Set the front wheels in the straight position.
Place a load of

lbs) on the seat.
Measure the distance

If the toe-in is out of specification, bring it into the specified
range.

DRIVE
CHAIN
Clean, lubricate and Inspect each time the vehicle is
ridden.
Visually check the drive chain for the possible defects listed
below. (Support the vehicle by a jack and a wooden block, turn
the rear wheel slowly by hand with the transmission shifted to
Neutral.)

Kinked or binding links
If any defects are found, the drive chain must be replaced.
NOTE:
When replacing
the
drive chain, replace the drive chain and
sprockets as a set.
CHECKING
Place the vehicle on
a
level ground.
Loosen the rear axle housing set nuts.
