• Install the gasket 2 and dowel pins 3.

• Install the cylinder head.
• Position the push rods 1 to the rocker arm adjust bolt hollows
D.

• Tighten the cylinder head bolts to the specified torque.
 Cylinder head bolt: 14 N·m (1.4 kgf-m, 10.0 lb-ft)
NOTE:
Tighten the bolts little by little and diagonally.
• Adjust the valve clearance E. (2-5 to -6)
 Valve clearance (when cold):
(IN): 0.05 – 0.10 mm (0.002 – 0.004 in)
(EX): 0.10 – 0.15 mm (0.004 – 0.006 in)
 Valve clearance adjuster lock-nut F:
7 N·m (0.7 kgf-m, 5.0 lb-ft)
GENERATOR COVER
• Tighten the generator cover bolts to the specified torque.
 Generator cover bolt: 11 N·m (1.1 kgf-m, 8.0 lb-ft)
NOTE:
Tighten the bolt A together with the washer and clamp 1.

The removed gasket must be replaced with a new one.
Install the push rods 1 to the rocker arm adjust bolt
hollows D and cam rocker arm hollows A surely.
