07 DC MOTOR ENCODER
(gradient motor)

SAGE’-ERROR 07 DC GRADIENT MO-
TOR ENCODER.
08 AC MOTOR ENCODER (belt motor) - Check the motor side encoder connec-
tor contacts. They must be “regular” and
not enlarged or stretched out [1].
- Check that a secondary ferrite is present
for the motor encoder harness, inside the
machine. Check that the two ferrites are
properly closed.
- If the error persists over time: replace
the motor-encoder group.

JERKS/ERROR 08 AC BELT MOTOR
ENCODER.
09 AC MOTOR BREAKER - Motor actually hot. Let the motor cool
down.
- If the error appears when the motor is
cold, check the motor thermal protection
on PIN 4 – PIN 5 of the AC belt motor
connector . In the case of an open circuit,
replace the AC motor. If there is a closed
circuit, replace the drive.
The correct operation of the motor break-
er is as follows:
Cold motor: PIN 4 – PIN 5: Contact
closed.
Hot motor: PIN 4 – PIN 5: Contact open.
